I am originally from Virginia where I practiced as a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - licensed since 2005.

Since 1999 I  have worked in various capacities with my main focus on youth and families, encompassing such problems as:

• ADHD
• abuse and neglect
• self-mutilating behaviors

In addition, as a Foster Care Case Manager, and In-Home Therapist, I counseled youth with disruptive behavioral problems and the affects on family members.

Ihave worked in private practice while in Virginia, and as an Outpatient Therapist for Zeiders Enterprises, Inc. working under Fleet & Family Support Services as a contrator for the United States Navy helping military personnel.

I am trained in EMDR (Level 1) to assist those who have experienced any type of distressing event.

I have aslo completed all Training Levels with the Gottman Institute to help couples.

I am a graduate of Regent Univeristy, with a Masters degree in Community Counseling. My husband completed almost fourteen years (enlisted) with the United States Navy. W have been married for over 20 years and have two children.
